Imagine the shells of windows, like cicada husks, laying all over the surface of this blog. They are thinner than paper, clearer than glass, but impenetrable. The work of criticism at present might be establishing an adequate vocabulary concerning "screen."
The utterance is itterative. At the highest level of resolution, each word is a mechanism half made of inner-speech and half of muscular action, and half of one's hearing oneself. It is a living thing which circulates meaning between its various parts. At the highest it does the same at the level of whole works and perhaps whole languages. If we take Bakhtin seriously the organic model for a blog would be well considered. To envision this as textual cells within textual tissues would imply a faculty of adjustable scale: zooming into concentric utterances.
Boards
This space could be considered less like a map, or a stack of file folders, and more as a game board. Mancala would be better than this.
